Katastrofa prezydenckiego samolotu w Smoleńsku. Prezydent Polski nie żyje!
O godzinie 8:56 czasu polskiego na lotnisku w Smoleńsku, podczas podchodzenia do lądowania rozbił się prezydencki samolot TU-154. Na lotnisku panowały ciężkie warunki pogodowe, była gęsta mgła.
Katastrofy samolotu NIKT NIE PRZEŻYŁ, zginęło 96 osób. Wśród ofiar są m.in. Prezydent Polski Lech Kaczyński i jego żona, wicemarszałek sejmu Jerzy Szmajdziński, minister Aleksander Szczygło, prezes IPN Janusz Kurtyka, Przemysław Gosiewski, Zbigniew Wasserman, dowódcy wojsk polskich, prezes NBP Sławomir Skrzypek, ostatni prezydent RP na uchodźstwie Ryszard Kaczorowski, biskup polowy Wojska Polskiego generał dywizji Tadeusz Płoski, prawosławny ordynariusz Wojska Polskiego biskup i generał brygady Miron Chodakowski oraz sekretarz Rady Ochrony Pamięci Walk i Męczeństwa Andrzej Przewoźnik.
