Jak twierdzi, w przestrzeni tzw. lunety, czyli sklepienia kolebkowego znajdującego się nad oknem w środkowej części obrazu, ukryta jest matematyczno-astrologiczna zaszyfrowana zagadka. Wynika z niej, że koniec świata rozpocznie się w pierwszy dzień wiosny (21 marca) roku 4006 r. a zakończy 1. listopada tego samego roku.
