Majowie stworzyli potężną cywilizację na terenie Ameryki Środkowej, niestety zgładzoną przez żądnych złota najeźdźców z Europy. Niektórzy uważają ich, razem ze starożytnymi Egipcjanami za potomków mieszkańców Atlantydy. Ich cywilizacja miała znaczące osiągnięcia: astronomia, matematyka, pismo hieroglificzne, monumentalne piramidy schodkowe. Naukowcy odkryli, że ostatnim dniem kalendarza majów jest 21 grudnia 2012 r. (oczywiście po przeliczeniu na nasz system ? kalendarz gregoriański). W ich zapisach ta data oznacza koniec świata, ogromny kataklizm, który zniszczy całą ludzkość. Data ta zapisana jest na monumentach z Coba i Palenqué.
Czy nie jest dziwnym fakt, że data końca świata wyznaczona przez potężną cywilizację Majów zbiega się z datą katastrofy słonecznej i zmiany biegunów Ziemi wyznaczoną na podstawie obliczeń współczesnych naukowców?
