Zginęło też 4 opiekunowi obaj kierowcy. 24 osoby zostały ranne. Dzieci wracały z obozu narciarskiego w Val d’Anniviers, niestety połowa z nich nigdy nie dotrze do domu. Rannych przewieziono do szpitali w Wallis, Bernie i Lozannie, a stan większości z nich uważany jest za bardzo ciężki. Do identyfikacji zwłok w wielu przypadkach niezbędna będzie analiza DNA.
