Tsunami na Bałtyku! Czy wielka fala zniszczy Polskę?
Wizjonerki z Łodzi przewidują, że w najbliżczym czasie przez Bałtyk może przejść ogromna fala tsunami, która zaleje północną Polskę. Co gorsza, naukowcy potwierdzają taką możliwość — mordercza fala tsunami mogłaby powstać w basenie morza Bałtyckiego na skutek trzęsienia ziemi pod dnem naszego morza. Na portalu Wirtualna Polska znajduje się artykuł opisujący czekające nas zagrodzenie. Oto krótki cytat:
Zdaniem prof. Wacława Florka z Instytutu Geografii Akademii Pomorskiej w Słupsku, “tsunami mogłoby wywołać trzęsienie ziemi o magnitudzie 5-6 lub większej w skali Richtera, z epicentrum pod dnem morskim”. – Do takich zjawisk dochodziło już w przeszłości na Bałtyku, jednak biorąc pod uwagę zachowane opisy wysokość fal, nie przekraczała kilku metrów – powiedział prof. Florek.
Jak się okazuje, podobne kataklizmy miały już miejsce w historii Polski:
- Jedno z takich wydarzeń opisali książęcy urzędnicy z Darłowa. W 1497 r. tamtejszy port rozmyły fale o wysokości od ok. 3 do być może nawet 20 metrów. Trzy statki zostały przeniesione na 3-4 kilometry w głąb lądu. Jeden z nich zatrzymał się na wzniesieniu o wysokości 22 metrów, gdzie dziś stoi kaplica św. Gertrudy. Przyczyną tego tsunami było trzęsienie ziemi w oddalonych o 500 km okolicach jeziora Wener w Szwecji, które powodując osuwisko w dnie Bałtyku wywołało tsunami, a ono spowodowało w Darłowie wiele zniszczeń – powiedział dr Piotrowski.
